What types of businesses do you work with?
We work with service businesses that operate within a localized geographic area. Some good examples of the types of businesses that we work with include: carpet cleaners, cabinet painters, handymen, flooring companies, dentists, doctors, garage door companies, home builders, contractors, plumbers, painters…you get the idea. Essentially, businesses that rely on new customers going online and searching for their services in order to find them – that’s who we’re best equipped to help. We cut our teeth working with multi-location franchise businesses and can adapt our services to a variety of industries. If you need eCommerce web design or marketing, or nationally targeted SEO or PPC ad campaigns, then we’re not the best fit for you. If you operate a service business that works within a locally-targeted geographic location then there’s a good chance that we can help you out!
Do you require any term commitments or contracts?
Nope. We decided to cut the string and go contract-free and we haven’t looked back. After seeing the plethora of marketing companies that lock their clients into long-term contracts without providing the expected results, we decided to commit to providing contract-free service without longterm commitments or cancellation fees. We believe that if we can’t deliver the results you deserve, you shouldn’t be locked into a contract with us. No strings attached.
How much do your services cost?
Our fees vary from one-time fees to monthly service subscriptions. We don’t have one-size-fits-all pricing for our services due to the fact that we cater our work to the needs and budgets of each client. Our fees will vary depending on the size of your company, your geographic targeting, the services we provide, and the overall strategy. Generally speaking, our clients spend in the ballpark of $2500-$5000/month on digital marketing, although we do have some that spend less and others that spend more. When can I expect results?
Time frames will vary for each of our digital marketing services. For SEO, we set the expectation at 3-6 months to begin seeing improved ranking results. Results will vary for every client, but SEO takes time to establish your rankings and is a longterm process. Pay-Per-Click and social media advertising are quick ways to establish an online presence. Results can be seen relatively quickly after we publish your ads, which in most cases happens within about a two week timeframe. Each project timeline will vary based on the scope of the individual projects. We don’t like phone calls from unhappy clients, so we do our absolute best to set realistic expectations out of the gate that we feel confident we can achieve.
SEO, PPC, Social Media: Which services do I actually need?
Search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media can work hand-in-hand to create solid, long-lasting results, but each of them has their individual benefits. We can help you determine which combination is best for your needs and then create a plan to help you achieve results within your budget. Many of our clients utilize all of these forms of online marketing to create a comprehensive marketing strategy, which is great. But we also have a large number of clients that utilize only one or two of these services and still see solid results. We’re flexible and will help you figure out where your advertising dollars will be spent the most effectively.
Do you only work with local companies?
No, we love working with local companies here in Utah, but the majority of our clients actually come from all over the country. We work with small business throughout the United States and Canada. Modern technology allows us to effectively communicate with our clients and learn about their industries and specific businesses, without having to be physically located in the same area. We utilize email, phone and video technology to regularly communicate with our clients and it works great.
What happens if we don’t see results?
Before we start working with you, we’ll set clear expectations regarding timelines and results. We’ll define what we consider to be “results,” which for most clients is based on three key performance indicators (KPIs):
- Search rankings
- Website traffic
- Leads (phone calls, emails)
While we don’t make any guarantees around these KPIs, if at any point you aren’t satisfied with the results – or you decide to close up shop, sell your business, or want to invest your marketing spend elsewhere – you’re free to cancel with us. We don’t provide refunds, but we won’t lock you into a long-term contract or charge outrageous cancellation fees, or any cancellation fees, for that matter. We do our best to make sure that both you and our team are on the same page with regard to the expectations of the results of our work. If we feel that we can’t meet your expectations then we won’t work with you. At the end of the day we want to meet, and ideally, exceed your expectations. We won’t set ourselves or our clients up for failure.
Do you charge cancellation fees?
No, we don’t charge cancellation fees. The majority of our services involve on-going month-to-month work, and therefore there are monthly fees associated with those services. However, you are free to cancel if you choose; we just ask for 30-days notice. We’re not into burning bridges and we’ll make sure that things are transitioned back to you in a hassle-free way.
Is your team large enough to support my business?
Maybe. Whether or not we have the capacity to support your business will depend on the scope of your needs. We do turn away business at times either because we don’t feel we have the current capacity to take on the extra workload, or because we just aren’t the right fit. We’re not a big business by any means, but we’re also not just a few guys that decided to team up and freelance on the weekends. As you can see on our team page, we’re not too big and we’re not too small, just right. We’re not ashamed of our small size relative to many of the larger digital marketing companies that are out there, and we won’t try to act like something we’re not – a large agency with a huge office, a ton of employees, and lots of overhead. Growth is great, and we have grown quite a bit over the years, but our small size provides flexibility that our clients tend to appreciate. We still feel like a startup and can make adjustments without the frustrating delays that you may experience with bigger companies. With the constantly changing landscape of digital marketing, big agencies have a hard time adjusting their services to evolving client needs. We don’t have that problem. Plus, let’s be honest, it’s fewer names for you to remember, which is a nice little bonus.
Can we count on you to support our business long-term?
We’re in it for the long haul. This isn’t just our hobby or a part-time gig. Our business is continually growing and we don’t show any signs of slowing down. We’re not going anywhere.
One of the common frustrations we hear from potential clients is that after having worked with a freelancer for a time, that person suddenly decided to take a job somewhere else or simply became too busy and could no longer support them, leaving the business owner stranded without someone to finish their web design project or handle their on-going marketing needs. That’s not an issue with us. If we work together then we’ll be committed to creating a lasting partnership based on communication, clear expectations, and results.
